The Passenger: The Meet with Lars

Based on Christian Marra's Character The Passenger. Christian asked me to do a spread for one of his issues, I couldn't resist. The imaged popped into my head immediately and I actually went straight to modeling, not a whole lot of drawing and planing was done before hand. My favorite part is the dog, saved him for last.

Got to work with the fine People at Popular mechanics once again. This time for their Self Reliance issue. The article revolves around 4 Stories of People in Dire Situations And how those people Survived.I even got to do some Sketches for the composition of the cover. Checkout what awesome Cape Town based illustrator/Designer Jordan Metcalf sent me. Totally made me giddy. "Die Cuts for the Cynical". Now i just have too come up with a worthy enough return for Jordan.

SEND HELP PROJECT

So Its been a while since my last update. Been busy working on a few things in the meanwhile. One of them being a piece for the SEND Help Project. I was invited and asked along with the other artist participating  to interpret the phrase "Send Help" in any medium we chose. The project was started and organized by a few friends of mine and is being hosted at creative labs.The show Is happening this Saturday the 28th for one night only. Also I included a sneak peek on my entry. To tell you the truth I didn't think I was going to make it. Its a massive piece printed on a canvas roughly about 6 and a half feet long and 36 inches High. The Photoshop file was massive and created a slew of computer problems. But now that its done and the beard is shave I can relax a bit before the next project coming up.

Forgot to upload this back in November. This is my entry for an upcoming book by Freestyle Collective and IdN.

Artist were invited and asked to depict a moment in their idea of Neo New York. Anyway not much to say about the piece, overall I felt it was a little rushed, but I am happy with the result.
